I thought that I should share my great experience with PC Nerds, because their service was awesome! Last week I went there with my broken laptop(with the reference of one of my friend). I tried to fix it before, but unfortunately I couldn't do it.They asked me to wait only 3,4 hours.Yeah they did it! Very good and friendly service.Thank you very much.Highly recommending.

Reference repair ticket 9325 – Bullhead City, AZ I gave the service two stars because the location of the store was convenient and because the customer counter and entry were neat and tidy. You state on your webpage that: That I will always receive HONEST diagnostics. DOES THE TESTER NEED TESTING? We can fix any computer problem and get you a solution fast. DID NOT FIX MY COMPUTER. Fast friendly service & communication. I GUESS SOUR-PUSS TOM WAS HAVING A BAD DAY. We guarantee we will thoroughly check your machine until we have an accurate diagnosis. NOT. Our Nerds are more than geeks or techs: they are specialists. REALLY? TEST AND SWAP. We guarantee we will fix the problem right the first time. GUARANTEES AREN’T GUARANTEED. PC Nerds can fix any laptop, notebook, PC or desktop computer problem guaranteed. ANY? Background: My laptop cooling fan started making grinding noises, so I looked up procedures for repairing or replacing the fan. Following the guidelines shown in the HP Maintenance and Service guide, I cleaned and lubricated the fan and cleaned the cooling fins. After reassembling the laptop, it would not start up, so I was unable to test the fan. On December 8, 2015, I brought my laptop in for a repair because it would not startup. I told Tom at the customer counter that I had cleaned the fan because of it making the noises. Assuming they would fix the startup issue, I left a note asking for them to replace the fan if it was still noisy. On December 14, 2015, I received a call from Jack. He stated that the hard drive and the adjacent area must have caught on fire and had been burned. He further said he had tested the hard drive and it failed the diagnostic. He asked that I come to the store and take a look at it. When I got to the store, Jack showed me the discoloration on the hard drive paper decal. I was again told by Jack and Tom that they had run a diagnostic test on the hard drive and it failed their tests. They said they did not test for the startup issue. They told me that the laptop was useless and that they would not repair it for the startup issue. I was not given an estimate; instead Tom insisted that it would cost me more to repair than to just buy another laptop. I repeatedly proposed that they make the repair anyway, but my requests were refused, so I left the store with the laptop. I was not charged for any work done. After I got home I looked closer at the discoloration on the hard drive. I am a cigarette smoker and I realized that latent smoke and tars might be the stain on the hard drive. I cleaned off most of the stain with isopropyl alcohol. Anyone with experience knows that burns (in a paper decal) will not clean off with alcohol. I took photos of the underside of the laptop with the before-and-after hard drive exposed. I can submit them if requested. The startup issue has since been resolved and it is working normally. The “failed the diagnostic” hard drive is working perfectly and all of the programs and files are still there. In fact I am using the computer to compose this review. I ask you these questions; what did Jack do to verify that the hard drive paper decal discoloration was truly a burn? How come the hard drive worked perfectly after Tom and Jack adamantly and repeatedly declared the hard drive had failed their diagnostic tests?
